Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks a Senior Software Developer to support the Combat Readiness Directorate in Heath, OH. The role focuses on embedded software interfaces, interoperability, and C2 applications for sensor, weapon, host platform, and avionics systems.

The candidate will use ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Oracle databases, emphasizing design, integration, testing, and SDLC in a secure government environment. A strong DoD-oriented lifecycle is required.

Qualifications

• US citizen
• Active Secret security clearance required
• Master’s or Doctorate in a related field with 10 years of experience (5 in DoD), or Bachelor’s with 12 years in related field (5 in DoD), or 15 years with certifications as described in PWS
• Experience developing web applications using .NET, C#, MVC Framework, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap
• Mid-to-advanced experience with Oracle databases (design, ANSI SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)
• Knowledge of software engineering lifecycle and SDLC processes
• Experience supporting software integration, testing, implementation and maintenance activities

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support secure web-based applications using the Microsoft Visual Studio environment
• Develop and maintain ASP.NET applications using VB.NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Perform Oracle database design, development, optimization, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain ANSI SQL and PL/SQL code including stored procedures and database objects
• Support software integration efforts involving embedded systems and interoperability interfaces
• Participate in software architecture reviews and SDLC lifecycle activities
• Assist in systems requirements analysis, hardware/software integration, testing, and evaluation
• Support SDP documentation and cross-functional engineering collaboration
• Ensure compliance with government cybersecurity and quality assurance standards
