Job summary

Graham Technologies seeks a Senior Software Engineer for Electronic Warfare Mission Data & Autotest to develop automated testing capabilities for a U.S. Air Force EW program at Eglin AFB, FL.

You will contribute to mission-critical software for data verification, with emphasis on real-time processing and systems integration. Ideal candidate has 5+ years in defense software, strong C++, Python, and Java skills, and experience with Windows-based, distributed, and data-intensive apps.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability environments.
• Strong programming experience in C++, C#, Python, Java or similar OO languages.
• Experience with Windows, distributed, real-time, or data-intensive applications.
• Experience integrating software with external systems, laboratory equipment, or hardware interfaces.
• Experience with structured data, telemetry, or real-time data streams.
• Experience with software documentation and lifecycle processes.
• Ability to work onsite at Eglin Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mission workflows to define software, interface, processing, and performance requirements for automated tests.
• Design, develop, and maintain production-quality software for mission data verification and validation.
• Create interfaces with simulators and external hardware systems.
• Develop applications to ingest, parse, and process real-time system messages.
• Design and maintain dictionaries, interfaces, data-processing logic, and protocols.
• Develop automated pass/fail adjudication logic and GUI tools for operators.
• Build automated logging, reporting, and data-analysis capabilities.
• Integrate existing government/third-party software components.
• Develop unit, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Validate performance, accuracy, reliability, and throughput during extended tests.
• Troubleshoot defects, timing/interface problems, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in design reviews, demonstrations, customer meetings, and government acceptance events.
• Maintain source code, baselines, release docs, and version control.
• Produce software design docs, user guides, test procedures, and test reports.
• Support cybersecurity updates and lifecycle maintenance.
