Job summary

MOBIS Technical Center of North America in Plymouth, Michigan is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Electrification to lead software development for BMS, OBC, DC-DC and traction inverters.

You will coordinate Functional Safety and Cybersecurity activities (ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434) with customers and global teams, drive program execution, and ensure compliance throughout the development lifecycle. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years of automotive embedded software/leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity standards.
• Experience with ASPICE and software lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions and reviews with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434 compliance across projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across locations.
• Oversee software architecture reviews and risk assessments.
