Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the Windows experience for Cribl Edge across enterprise environments, including installation, service lifecycle, and data collection from Event Logs, WMI, and performance counters.

You will design multi‑platform data collection agents for Windows, Linux, and macOS, collaborate with UX, PM, and engineers, and contribute to automated tests and on‑call rotations. Experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is valued.

Qualifications

Candidates should show strong Windows troubleshooting and deployment skills.
Experience with cross‑platform data collection and service lifecycle management.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ownership mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

Own and improve the Windows experience for Cribl Edge including data sources and installers.
Design and optimize data collection agents for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Collaborate with UX, Product Managers, and engineers to translate requirements into UI/UX and code.
Own development lifecycle from design to testing and maintenance with clean code.
Develop automated tests and run Windows‑specific validation of services and permissions.
Support SaaS products and participate in on‑call rotations.
