Job summary
Cribl is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance Cribl Edge on Windows and contribute to cross‑platform data collection across Windows, Linux, and macOS. You will own the end‑to‑end development lifecycle, from design to testing and deployment, delivering fast, reliable software for large enterprise environments.
You will work with UX, product managers, and fellow engineers, leveraging TypeScript/Node.js, Docker, and cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or similar field
- Strong Windows internals knowledge: services, registry, WMI, permissions
- Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and cross‑platform apps
- Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud runtimes
Responsibilities
- Own and improve the Windows experience for Cribl Edge data collection
- Design and optimize data collection agents for Windows, Linux, and Mac
- Collaborate with UX, PMs, and engineers to translate requirements
- Own development lifecycle from design to tests and maintenance
- Develop automated tests including Windows‑specific scenarios
- Support SaaS products and participate in on‑call rotations
