Job summary

Rincon Research Corporation in Tucson, AZ seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to drive development of C++, Python, and Next.js React projects. You will manage multi-domain software changes, ensure cohesive integration across platforms, and lead secure code architecture from design through deployment.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, deep software design expertise, and ability to articulate complex performance metrics. Expect collaboration across engineering, hardware interfaces, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Knowledge of software design principles including industry best practices and design trends.
• Ability to communicate software and algorithm design, complexity analysis, and performance metrics in written and oral reports.
• Ability to quickly grasp and come up-to-speed with large software code bases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expanded development of an existing C++, Python, and Next.js React program with new features, bug fixes, and capabilities.
• Oversee development of an existing portfolio of programs at multiple security domains, deconflicting software modifications within those domains, and reconciling changes back to a master repository.
• Integrate an existing program onto multiple different software/hardware platforms and manage releases with different feature sets across platforms.
• Architect, design, develop, and deploy high-quality and secure code.
