Job summary

Rincon Research Corporation seeks a DSP Engineer to create cutting edge solutions for national security signal processing, geolocation, and communications problems. You will work with engineers and scientists in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment on challenging defense applications.

The role emphasizes leading DSP system design, software implementation, and deployment, with opportunities to impact front-line facilities and customer missions from Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in signal processing engineering.
• Subject matter expert in DSP with track record of system development.
• Experience as project technical lead or PI.
• Experience mentoring engineers and advising program management.
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python in Linux.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of DSP systems for comms and radar signals.
• Develop, deploy, maintain, and test software-based solutions.
• Collaborate across systems engineering, development, integration, deployment, and operations.
• Propose improvements and stay up-to-date with DSP technologies.
