Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Westford, MA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the DPU Platform team. You will develop system software, including processor firmware and kernel drivers, collaborating with hardware and product design teams on advanced SOC platform designs.

You will lead bring-up and validation with global teams, tackle system-level optimization, and work in pre-silicon modes to architect, debug, and optimize performance using simulations and hardware emulation.

Qualifications

6+ years of Linux and embedded systems development.
Experience with Linux bootloader/boot firmware (ATF/UEFI a strong plus).
Experience maintaining Linux distributions and user-space libraries and services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of performance improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop system software components including processor firmware, kernel drivers/modules, and user space applications and libraries.
Collaborate with hardware and product design teams to develop software for sophisticated SOC platform designs.
Assist world-wide teams with DPU project bring-up and validation.
Tackle complex system-level optimization and resource utilization challenges.
Work in pre-silicon development mode to architect, debug, measure, and optimize performance using simulators and emulators.
