Allegion is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to advance the Digital Manufacturing Team. You will define tools and processes to enhance Allegion's digital product development, balancing delivery with non-functional requirements through cross-team collaboration.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and implement secure, scalable software solutions in an agile environment, while supporting a hybrid work model and 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern object-oriented languages (C# or Java).
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (Angular or React).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor software engineers and promote best practices.
• Collaborate on architecture, standards, and SDLC improvements.
• Advise product teams on solution architecture balancing business and non-functional requirements.
• Design interactions between applications for reliable, fault-tolerant integrations.
• Identify and mitigate technical and security risks in projects.
