Job summary

Epsilon C5I, part of Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc., is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I to join our San Diego team. You will work in an Agile environment developing features for a software test automation framework and CI/CD infrastructure.

You will design and implement automation using Python, Robot Framework, and OSS tools, convert tests to automated suites, and collaborate with DoD-focused customers while maintaining strong documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Six (6+) or more years of software engineering experience.
• Experience using Git as a source code repository tool.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective team player with customer service skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required by government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Work in an AGILE software development and integration environment.
• Create and enhance automation framework with Python, Robot Framework and OSS tools.
• Develop reusable plug-and-play components to enhance automation framework.
• Convert manual tests to automated suites and expand test coverage.
• Provide test framework support through tutorials, demos, and documentation.
