Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill AFB, UT. The role focuses on software-intensive system design, development, integration, and sustainment across the full acquisition lifecycle.

Responsibilities include requirements traceability, system analysis, technical documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and mission effectiveness. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• PhD in related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience or
• Master’s with 10+ years or
• Bachelor’s with 15+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support DoW acquisition lifecycle phases from analysis to operations and support.
• Apply software engineering principles to design, develop, integrate, and sustain software-intensive systems.
• Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification for software and system-level capabilities.
• Perform system design, integration, and technical analysis to ensure performance and mission effectiveness.
• Develop and review system and engineering documentation, including specifications and interface control documents.
• Support technical reviews and program milestone activities (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams for integrated system performance.
• Analyze system performance and propose improvements to enhance reliability and maintainability.
• Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning; provide input to acquisition documentation.
