Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Network Administrator to support the Training Division (AFLCMC/WNR) at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah.

You will administer LAN/WAN systems, ensure secure communications, and support telecom infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments. Responsibilities include VMware management, DIACAP/RMF compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and security.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or naturalized citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the technical discipline, including 5 years DoW OR 15 years directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including 8 years in DoW.
• Must have qualifying DoW 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, classified and unclassified systems.
• VMware server management experience.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• DIACAP and RMF compliance.
• Secure communications infrastructure.
• Help desk operations and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Government acquisition and logistics systems.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain LAN and WAN systems across classified and unclassified environments.
• Provide secure communications venues for product teams to discuss sensitive requirements and designs.
• Support telecommunications infrastructure including phones, videoconferencing, and messaging systems.
• Assist with development of web-based IT equipment management systems and custom Government applications.
• Perform VMware server administration and manage virtualization/high-availability environments.
• Provide help desk support and manage IT trouble tickets for Government systems (ABSS, CPARs, CAS).
• Install and maintain communications cabling (CAT5, fiber).
• Develop documentation for DIACAP and RMF certification of networks.
• Conduct system security reviews of new designs to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Integrate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Analyze system usage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues.
