ARES is recruiting a Software Engineer to support NORAD/CCIC2S missions from Cheyenne Mountain Complex. The role is full-time and remote, with travel 10-20% to CONUS/OCONUS sites. Candidate must have or obtain DoD Secret clearance and be eligible for TS.

Strong Java, Python 3, MATLAB, and C-family skills are required. The work involves agile development of simulations and analytical tools, with responsibilities spanning requirements analysis, testing, documentation, and deployment across

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 12 years of technical experience including DoD work.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred with 10 years of experience in the discipline.
• Proficient in Java, Python 3, MATLAB, and C family languages; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Attend agile process meetings (daily scrums, retrospectives, PI planning).
• Develop and document test data, scenarios, and tools for the test community.
• Write code for scenarios/tools with industry best practices; ensure sources are provided.
• Interface with government and vendors to improve simulations and performance.
• Coordinate with teams to install/remove simulations and document requirements.
