Job summary

Synergy ECP in Columbia, MD, seeks a senior software engineer with TS/SCI poly to design, develop, and document complex software for Government systems. You will work across the full software lifecycle, use OO methods, and collaborate with hardware, software, and security teams.

You will deploy and test at government locations, maintain CM processes, and apply modern techniques including SOA, XML/XSD, and various IDEs (JBuilder, Eclipse).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required; substitution options exist.
• Fifteen years of software application design and development experience.
• Twelve years leading teams of software design and development for collection systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document system and subsystem-level code.
• Develop customer requirements into software specifications for implementation.
• Maintain/modify software to add features, fix bugs, or adapt to hardware changes.
• Perform system and unit level testing with test plans and regression tests.
• Use CM tools such as Subversion/Trac or Git to manage code changes.
• Interacts with stakeholders to report progress and manage requirements.
