Job summary

KBI Biopharma in Boulder, CO seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build data-centric applications that accelerate drug development. You will help expand cloud-based platforms, work with scientists and product owners, and craft solutions enabling data exchange, visualization, and analysis.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
5+ years developing software, ideally with scientific/data focus.
Strong command of Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
5+ years delivering products with modern tech: Python/JS frameworks, AWS data services.
Solid cloud architecture and software design in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration with stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset.
Passion for learning new tech to speed development and robustness.
Experience in regulated/pharma environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, enhance software solutions and data tools for scientific insight.
Translate product requirements into designs and engineering tasks.
Collaborate with SMEs to build data-driven tools and apps.
Introduce new ideas, tools, and best practices for faster time-to-market.
Interface with scientists, engineers, and management to align on vision.
Own projects end-to-end from design to production and support.
Provide code reviews and training to internal and external developers.
