As part of ADP, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance systems that handle millions of queries daily. Description

We build and support services like Spark in our Data platform, used internally by various Apple teams for critical use cases. We seek a strong, enthusiastic developer to join this group. You will have significant responsibility and influence over the direction of vital Apple internal services. Your ideas and passion for delivering software as a service will improve reuse, efficiency, and simplicity, impacting hundreds of millions of users and supporting key Apple features.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or scripting languages, especially with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying data processing applications on cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP
• Experience with cluster management/orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Helm, Docker (a plus)
• Ability to design large-scale, complex applications with low latency, fault-tolerance, and high availability
• A learning mindset to continually improve oneself, the team, and the organization
• Commitment to excellence and quality
• Enjoys fast-paced environments and learning new technologies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern analytics and data technologies like Spark
• Contributions to open source projects

Pay & Benefits

Base pay ranges from $175,800 to $312,200, depending on skills, experience, and location. Employees can participate in stock programs, receive benefits like medical, dental, retirement, discounts, and educational reimbursements.
