As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building the next-generation user experiences.

Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Manager with deep expertise in Kubernetes and AI to lead engineering efforts, architect scalable solutions, and drive innovation across our infrastructure platform.

You will manage a high-performing team focused on advancing our Kubernetes ecosystem, collaborate with leadership to define multi-cloud Kubernetes strategy, and build Kubernetes products enhanced with AI.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Kubernetes and AI, proven leadership experience, and a track record of delivering scalable systems. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Kubernetes initiatives, aligning technical goals with business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and growing a team of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure engineers.
• Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute Kubernetes experience strategies aligned with business goals and industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kubernetes solutions into products and services.
• Stay updated on AI trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.
• Ensure Kubernetes architecture aligns with cloud-native applications.
• Guarantee system quality, robustness, and scalability.
• Communicate vision, progress, and results effectively to senior leadership.
• Build relationships with external partners, vendors, and academic institutions.
• Lead hiring and talent development efforts.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
• Design scalable, reliable, and secure APIs for integrations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.

Pay & Benefits

Apple offers a total compensation package, with a base pay range between $219,300 and $378,700, depending on skills and experience.
