Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions supporting critical business operations. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality code, participating in reviews, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to documentation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Strong data modeling expertise with ERwin, normalization and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Databricks data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL with advanced joins, analytics, and optimization.
• Oracle DB experience, PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Experience handling JSON, semi-structured data, and schema evolution.
• Experience with Databricks Genie Spaces and ThoughtSpot integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions for business operations.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues with root-cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment frequency and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and agile ceremonies.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and evaluate outputs for correctness.
