Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC is seeking a Level 3 Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems across analytics, real-time, and data-centric applications. You will lead teams, integrate with existing software, and optimize performance while collaborating with system engineers and schedulers.

The role requires Unix/Linux experience, Python/Java proficiency, front-end basics, and strong Git usage. A TS/SCI clearance is required to qualify for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Recent software development experience with Python and Java.
• Familiar with Streamlit for building interactive web apps.
• Experience with front-end technologies (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Knowledge of distributed big data processing (Spark).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Integrate software into new/modified systems or environments.
• Develop data queries for databases.
• Develop software in C, C++, Python, Ruby, JavaScript etc.
• Lead software development teams as appropriate.
• Design and develop relational/non-relational databases.
• Use orchestration frameworks like Spring and Kafka.
• Familiar with queue management systems.
• Develop/implement algorithms for performance.
• Execute test procedures for software components.
• Analyze systems data and improve performance.
• Modify software for new hardware compatibility.
• Develop cloud-based solutions.
• Design complex algorithms with timing/resource constraints.
• Ensure quality control of products.
• Propose improvements to docs and processes.
• Oversee one or more teams and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with system/hardware engineers on requirements.
