ApartmentIQ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to evolve our shared data platform that powers the three ApartmentIQ products. You will architect data capabilities, expand coverage, improve freshness, and enable deeper multifamily insights.

You’ll translate product objectives into high-performance data outcomes while ensuring alignment with business goals. You will own end-to-end data delivery, scale ingestion pipelines, define data standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience delivering pipelines powering customer-facing features.
• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails and Python.
• Deep understanding of large-scale data collection, including web scraping, parsing, proxy management, and structured feed ingestion.
• Hands-on pipeline architecture experience with batch workflows (dbt, Airflow).
• Cloud Native AWS infrastructure including RDS, ECS, S3, Lambda, OpenSearch.
• Observability mindset with performance monitoring, error tracking, and distributed tracing.
• Strategic communicator able to translate complex technical details into product outcomes.
• Autonomous in a fast-paced growth environment.

In this role, you will be a key architect of our data capabilities, shaping our product roadmap by expanding coverage, improving freshness, and enabling deeper insights for the multifamily industry.You will handle technical execution while ensuring our data initiatives align with business goals.
