Qualifications

• ≥ 5 years of software development experience with a strong engineering background.
• Love of simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break.
• Ability to convey technical ideas to non-technical partners.
• Bias for action and problem-solving mindset.
• Desire to broaden tooling repertoire; platform is Ruby-based.
• Aptitude for quick learning.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business, product, design, and engineers to translate problems into elegant technical solutions.
• Build and launch products rapidly; ship to production dozens of times per day.
• Develop complex integrations with government agencies and partners.
• Automate legacy customs filing processes and improve analytics experience.
• Create robust domain models for freight forwarding.
