Vertafore, a leading insuretech provider, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to shape the experience of key customers. You will collaborate with Customer Support, Account Management, Product Management and Product Development to guide customers and contribute to team growth.

You will work on high-profile projects with cross-functional teams and develop solutions that meet customer expectations with minimal defects, while mentoring others and serving as a customer champion within Vertafore.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development across the full stack.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Innovates and crafts clean code.
• Explain technical concepts to customers and recommend solutions.
• Document and design technical specifications from business requirements.
• Develop and deploy solutions in non-production and production environments.
• Lead junior developers and provide feedback to leadership.
• Troubleshoot across OS, DB, apps, JavaScript, and network stacks.
