Job summary

Tensec is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and ship products used by customers worldwide. You will tackle cross-border compliance, finance tech challenges, and build scalable, secure systems for SMBs with a focus on reducing manual processes through smarter infrastructure.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product and design, and advocate for quality through clean, well-tested code. This hybrid Palo Alto role offers equity and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on full-stack delivery.
• Track record of shipping products to real end users and iterating based on feedback.
• Experience with popular frameworks; React and Node.js (or comparable).
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end — from discovery and design through development, launch, and iteration.
• Build across the stack: frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Partner with product, design, and cross-functional teams to translate vision into shipped product.
• Prototype quickly to validate ideas, then harden winners into scalable solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code and define development best practices.
• Monitor production issues to keep the experience fast and secure.
• Stay updated with industry trends and bring new tools and ideas to the team.
• Collaborate effectively across time zones and regions.
