Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the selection engine, CPQ, and data integration for chiller and data center cooling products.

Based in the US, you will translate engineering data into reliable commercial selections and establish the Git-based development environment. You will collaborate with mechanical, applications, testing, and other teams to deliver scalable software that supports complex product configurations and automated documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in production engineering or engineering software.
• Fluency in C# and VB.NET to maintain calculation code.
• Strong SQL and relational DB design and optimization.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, release management.
• Experience integrating software with ERP/CRM/PLM systems.
• Experience with product configuration software.
• Familiarity with HVAC or industrial equipment preferred.
• Experience with LaTeX or templated PDF generation.

Responsibilities

• Develop the calculation engine for engineering models and product selection workflows.
• Implement configuration, rules, constraints, pricing, and selection logic.
• Design and maintain performance databases, data models, and versioning.
• Integrate test-stand data and tools for validation and deployment.
• Shape UI and workflows used by Sales and Applications for quotes.
• Automate performance reports, equipment schedules, and technical packages.
• Connect selection software with CRM, ERP, PLM/PDM, and BOM systems.
• Create scalable software architecture for modular product families.
• Establish testing, version control, release, and deployment practices.
