Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Core Libraries team. You will design, build, extend, and maintain cross‑platform shared libraries used by the CrowdStrike sensor on Windows, Linux, and macOS, handling memory, parsing, and threading concerns.

You will own end‑to‑end development from design through production validation. You will collaborate with sensor developers across the company, lead design reviews, drive testing strategies, mentor junior engineers, and help resolve

Qualifications

• Experience in C/C++ in low-level systems context.
• Design, implement, test libraries across Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Cross-platform exposure and portability reasoning.
• Own ambiguous technical problems and drive to resolution.
• Influence direction via design docs, prototypes, and technical positions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Gather library requirements across teams and design, implement, and test libraries.
• Take end-to-end ownership from design through production validation for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Drive technical proposals and lead design reviews with feedback to raise the bar.
• Represent technical position in cross-org planning and risk discussions.
• Participate in planning, scoping, and dependency identification.
• Mentor and grow junior engineers through feedback and reviews.
• Investigate production incidents and document learnings at fleet scale.
• Champion end-to-end testing and validation for reliability.
