Job summary

Slash is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to help build and evolve its core banking product that handles billions in annual volume. You will own end-to-end surfaces—from data models to customer-facing interfaces—while designing scalable financial infrastructure and backend services.

You’ll work with product, design, and compliance to ensure correct, compliant features that customers actually use, while maintaining high craftsmanship and fast delivery in a small-team setting.

Qualifications

• Ships and owns full product surfaces from data model to deploy.
• Strong full-stack skills: API design, migrations, and frontend work.
• Excellent product instincts for UX, APIs, and correctness.

Responsibilities

• Own and ship entire product surfaces end-to-end for core banking product.
• Design data models, write migrations, build backend services for financial ops.
• Collaborate with product, design, and compliance to ship compliant, usable features.
• Shape engineering standards and architecture decisions with customers in mind.
