Job summary

Orum is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Coaching + Analytics Team. You will own core features end-to-end and architect scalable backend/frontend solutions for real-time call routing and speech processing.

Expect collaboration with product, design, and data teams to deliver high-impact, maintainable software. The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, enforcing coding standards, and driving architectural excellence in a fast-paced, AI-powered sales platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning features or products through the full lifecycle from discovery to release to iteration.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building applications with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience working with an RDBMS using SQL.
• Deep appreciation for simple, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Own core product features, from initial concept and discovery through implementation, deployment, and iterative improvement.
• Design and build scalable systems (70% backend, 30% frontend) that power real-time, high-volume workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, Designers, and Engineers to shape and deliver intuitive experiences.
• Mentor and support teammates by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Drive technical excellence by helping define and uphold coding standards for a clean, scalable codebase.
