Job summary

Asure Software is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build cloud-native microservices for Payroll & Tax, Time & Attendance, and HR. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers across the organization to integrate greenfield development with existing infrastructure.

You will own technical output for a product application development team, emphasizing empathy for users and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of work history in full stack production engineering in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain event driven cloud native HCM software.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core/Framework for backend and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
• Maintain customer focus and understand your team's charter.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate on best practices and code reviews.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and agile workflows.
