Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in Bethesda, MD. This role involves the development and maintenance of the VDB Library, utilizing cloud technologies for improved performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using C++ in an Object-Oriented programming paradigm.
• Experience in a Linux development environment.
• Knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud technologies.

• Develop, implement, test, and maintain the VDB Library and related projects.
• Participate in the development of cloud-ready tools and pipelines.
• Lead other developers.
