Job summary

Nuuly is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help mature a cloud-based, microservices platform powering our online customer experience and logistics for garment distribution.

You will design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable services, with strong emphasis on Java/Kotlin, JVM tooling, and relational/non-relational databases. Expect collaboration across teams, mentorship, incident response, and continuous improvement of architecture and practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with senior responsibilities.
• Experience with building scalable microservices and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural proposals and drive platform evolution.
• Collaborate with product to analyze feasibility and design solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Deliver full lifecycle features from design to deployment and support.
• Contribute to reliability practices and post-mortem analyses.
• Lead development methodologies discussions and continuous improvements.
• Coordinate with QA and Platform teams to keep tests unblocked.
• Provide technical guidance on integration approaches and system constraints.
