Job summary

Rincon Research Corporation seeks an Advanced Software Engineer to design real-time cloud processing solutions and implement DSP-based algorithms in C++ and Python on Linux. You will test with real data, create user interfaces and visualization tools, and contribute to cutting-edge geolocation and communications projects for national security.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software engineering, a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, and can obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 8 years' experience in software engineering
• Proficient in C++ and Python in Linux environments
• Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
• Able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required
• Preferred: DevOps/Cloud experience (GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP)

Responsibilities

• Design real-time cloud processing solutions
• Implement advanced signal processing and geolocation algorithms
• Test with real data and provide user interfaces and data visualization tools
• Stay updated with latest technologies and propose innovative solutions
• Work across systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M
