Turnberry Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Digital Modernization practice. You will work on data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, analytics, and ML services, collaborating with product owners and architects.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong coding skills in Go, Python, Java, and C++, and familiarity with bioinformatics workflows. Remote-friendly in the US with Rochester, MN option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with applicable years of experience.
• Proficient in high-level languages (Go, Python, Java, C++, C#).
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• Experience with modern application development frameworks and SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of genetics file formats (BAM/VCF) and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate requirements into code.
• Build services around data warehousing, big data, cloud, BI and analytics.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on design and best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and cross-functional initiatives.
• Deliver maintainable code with proper documentation and testing.
