Job summary

Visa is building the Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure Automation platform to manage environments across VMs, containers, and bare metal. You will help design, develop, and operate scalable microservices using Java/Spring, REST APIs, and modern tooling.

You'll leverage Kubernetes, Terraform, and Temporal to automate workflows, with a focus on self-service, reliability, and rapid iteration. A strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and collaboration guides the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience building REST-based web services and web applications.
• Understanding of Generative AI technologies and agentic frameworks.
• Experience with microservices and cloud platforms, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications.
• Write high-quality, testable, production-ready code.
• Apply GenAI and agentic patterns to automation capabilities within the platform.
• Collaborate in design reviews, development, and code reviews.
• Deliver robust, usable solutions on time and with high quality.
