Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience or 5+ years of relevant work experience (per job ad)
• Proficiency in Python or Java and strong CS fundamentals
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is required
• Hands-on software engineering with strong coding skills
• Familiarity with GenAI in development and testing workflows
• Frontend experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend services

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and administration duties for Big Data platforms built on Hadoop, Spark, HBase
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions, tools and products to improve efficiency and scalability
• Write clean, efficient code and support testing, deployment, and validation of software
• Build and enhance frontend applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, Java, and API design/integration
• Leverage Generative AI to drive innovative solutions and automate workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain strong communication within the team and stakeholders
