Job summary

Visa is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building the Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure Automation platform. You will help design and implement scalable services that manage environments across VMs, containers, and bare metal, with workflow orchestration using Temporal and Terraform.

You'll work on web interfaces and services that power Visa's internal cloud, applying Generative AI concepts to create self-service, self-healing automation and ensure high-quality, robust code

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience building REST-based web services and web applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Understanding of Generative AI technologies and agentic frameworks and applying them to automate within payments tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications.
• Write high-quality, testable, production-ready code.
• Apply Generative AI and agentic patterns to build self-service and self-healing automation within the platform.
• Showcase debugging and problem-solving skills and deliver high-quality code.
