Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain large-scale production solutions in Fort Worth, TX. You’ll work across Java/Spring backend and modern frontend stacks, with cloud and CI/CD tooling to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 1+ years designing and implementing large-scale production solutions
• Strong coding, debugging and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Write, test and document code and scripts per standards
• Produce high-quality designs that are clear and maintainable
• Debug run-time issues and improve system reliability and performance
• Design new implementations and improve existing architectures with security in mind
• Identify automation opportunities to boost team efficiency
• Advocate secure coding practices during code reviews
