Job summary

LINQ in Denver is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-functional scrum team building business-critical applications. You’ll own features from design through production, mentor teammates, and help migrate our platform from ASP.NET WebForms to Angular and .NET on AWS.

You’ll work with a modern stack (Angular, .NET 10, EF Core, PostgreSQL) and focus on scalable, secure software that supports USDA Child Nutrition program administration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to determine optimal solution architecture and ensure scalability.
• Review requirements and clarify ambiguities to keep customer impact in focus.
• Design system architecture and guide engineers on best practices and tradeoffs.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and drive production issue resolution with clear reproduction steps.
• Identify improvements to engineering practices and tools and implement them.
