Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable computer systems and applications. You will mentor junior developers and drive best practices across the team while solving complex technical problems and guiding technology choices.

With strong cloud experience (Azure & AWS) and expertise in data architecture, you will contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, and 3+ years as a Software Engineer with a focus on designing and building complex, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make critical decisions, and drive consensus among team members.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural discussions, make design decisions, and ensure alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Solve complex technical problems and make critical decisions about technology choices and architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on challenging projects.
