Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of scalable software systems. You will mentor junior developers and drive best practices across the team, ensuring robust architectures and high-quality code.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, tackle complex problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI/agent code integration, cloud adoption, and data system design. A strong engineering foundation and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development; 3+ years as a Software Engineer with focus on complex, scalable systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural discussions, ensure alignment with business goals and best practices.
• Solve complex problems and make critical decisions on technology and architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and coding standards.
• Strong Cloud Experience (Azure & AWS) and AI/agent code integration involvement.
