Our client in Paarl is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on cloud technologies to design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure cloud-native applications.

You will work with leading cloud services to build reliable solutions, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines. Strong programming skills in Python/Go/Java and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on cloud computing.
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and infrastructure as code tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.
