GitHub is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Developer Experience (DX) Build and Test team. You will own core build and CI systems used company-wide, improving reliability and performance while balancing speed, scale, and stability.

You will lead with technical expertise, collaborate across teams, and partner with engineering leadership to deliver secure, scalable workflows for millions of developers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with production code in multiple languages.
• Alternative: 5+ years with Associate's + strong coding in listed languages.
• Alternative: 4+ years with Bachelor's + strong coding in listed languages.
• Master's or Doctorate holders with experience also acceptable.
• Equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, product management, customers, and leadership to define problems.
• Drive technical solutions to critical problems with design guidance and hands-on work.
• Communicate progress, direction, and risks to stakeholders.
• Build relationships across teams to identify opportunities and improvements.
