Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Software Engineer to support on-site at our Springfield, VA location. You will develop applications and APIs for analytic capabilities, work in an Agile team, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires strong coding skills in C++, Python, and JavaScript, experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, and a TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Expect a fast-paced environment serving a demanding client base in the DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI + CI-Poly eligibility.
• 4–6+ years designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise systems.
• Proficient in C++, Python and JavaScript; experience with DevSecOps.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD across Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by collaborating with stakeholders and analyzing requirements.
• Evaluate feasibility and design effective software architectures.
• Estimate timelines and contribute within Agile teams.
• Prepare and present analysis of development and service issues to stakeholders.
• Improve operations through systems analysis and process refinements.
• Create automated tests and deployment scripts.
• Develop architecture and data-flow diagrams for complex systems.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices (GitLab, Jira) and secure coding.
