Job summary

WaferWire Cloud Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Team, building scalable, secure backend services and APIs for platform operations. You will drive automated testing within CI/CD, leverage AWS/Azure cloud native tech, and collaborate with QA, Security, and Infra teams to ensure reliable releases.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in C#
  • Automation tool testing experience (PostMan, Bruno, SpecFlow, cucumber)
  • End to end test automation experience covering APIs, batch processing, and big data validation.
  • Architecture: Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and microservices architecture.
  • Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/AKS preferred), Azure Cosmo DB with AI Search, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
  • DevOps: Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
  • Containers & Observability: Knowledge of container orchestration, release automation, and platform observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Team, contributing to the development of scalable, secure, and resilient systems that support core platform services and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in platform engineering, cloud-native architectures and Automation Testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Implement and maintain automated testing (unit, integration, and smoke tests) to improve delivery confidence and reduce production risk

Qualifications


  • Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • Languages: Proficiency in C#

  • Automation tool testing experience (PostMan, Bruno, SpecFlow, cucumber)

Compensation / Salary Range:

The typical pay range for this role is: USD $85,000/Yearly - $100,000/Yearly. Factors that may affect pay within or outside of this range may include but not limited to geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
