Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years of software development experience
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Experience with APIs, development frameworks, and database management
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with version control systems
• Ability to collaborate with staff, management, stakeholders, and vendors
• Advanced skills in problem-solving, systems analysis, and deployment of new or upgraded systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Master's degree in CS or Engineering is desirable
• Must adhere to Navy Federal policies under BSA

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions meeting requirements
• Write clean, maintainable code following standards and security guidelines
• Analyze technical challenges, troubleshoot, and implement solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to build scalable apps
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide feedback
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Stay current with technologies, frameworks, and trends
• Maintain technical documentation for code and architecture
• Optimize code for performance and scalability
• Ensure security and compliance and address vulnerabilities
• Work with minimal supervision to support projects
