Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and own end-to-end features for our SaaS products in a fast-paced environment in North Carolina. You will work on full-stack development using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, while applying AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

You will help shape system architecture, collaborate with a senior engineering team, and mentor others to raise engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or web-based products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience owning software features from design through production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from design to testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Shape technical design decisions, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to evolve AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Own production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
