Job summary

Affirm is seeking a backend engineering lead to own and deliver quarterly goals by guiding engineers through complex, open-ended backend problems and API solutions.

You will collaborate with product, design, and analytics to design scalable integrations for enterprise merchants and partners, shaping robust distributed systems on AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend experience with Python or Kotlin
• Experience building distributed systems on AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
