Home Depot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United States to independently develop and refactor products, mentor engineers, and contribute to product choices, security, and production monitoring.

You will design and build scalable backend services using Java, Kafka, Pub/Sub, RESTful APIs, microservices, and Elasticsearch on Google Cloud Platform, handling large-scale data deployments and transactions with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience building high-volume backend applications with transaction data.
• Proven API design and development of scalable microservices.
• Experience with Java, Kafka, Pub/Sub, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Elasticsearch.
