Qualifications

Optomi, in partnership with a leading electric and gas utility company, is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong backend development focus to join an Enterprise Strategy & Innovation team responsible for designing and delivering innovative technology solutions across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, building applications from the ground up, and working with emerging technologies. Rather than maintaining traditional enterprise applications, this team focuses on developing new solutions across cybersecurity, physical security, supply chain, finance, and other business functions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong backend engineering expertise, experience building APIs and integrating complex systems, and the ability to own full‑stack application development from initial concept through production. This individual will collaborate closely with AI engineers, automation specialists, and product teams to turn innovative ideas into scalable, production‑ready applications.
