Job summary

DevZero is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale the core systems powering our Kubernetes optimization platform. You will build distributed services in Go and own data pipelines that process Kubernetes metrics at scale.

You will collaborate with ML teams on predictive scaling, ensure high availability, and work with Kubernetes APIs and controllers. This role offers impact on cost and performance within a fast-growing US startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Go
• Deep experience with Kubernetes internals and APIs
• Experience building distributed systems and data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
