Job summary

Helion in Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team. You will design and implement enterprise-grade applications using C#/.NET, EF Core, SQL Server on Azure, with TypeScript, React, and modern DevOps tools.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, mentor peers, and help ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of critical systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures and patterns.
5 years in at least one modern language and experience with React, TypeScript, NodeJS, NoSQL or cloud.
5 years of understanding web services such as REST and JSON.
5 years in defining system architectures and evaluating technical trade-offs.
5-7 years of experience with diverse technologies in healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

Design and write engineering specifications and code adhering to standards.
Generate ideas and implement technical solutions ensuring scalability and performance.
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
Drive story creation with DoD, acceptance criteria, and task tracking (RTC/Jira).
Monitor progress and report issues to lead developers.
Mentor other engineers as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
